prayers1 153 Report post Posted December 10, 2011 I noticed when taking the rear Differential off the leaf springs that there is NO rubber pad inbetween the leafspring and shock/spring mount plate. I looked in the parts Catalog and didn't see any for sale. So, is there suppose to be one or not?

prayers1 153 Report post Posted December 10, 2011 Then it's metal to metal, not even an 1/8" of hard plastic. I'm asking to be double sure. I know that early Camaros had a thin rubber pad with a hole in the center to fit over the stub at the center of the leafspring. Thanks!
Couped Up 10 Report post Posted December 10, 2011 (edited) Nope, Only thing between your spring and perch is paint.... Ford used a rubber wrap on their larger cars, but it tends to create more deflection in the pinion angle. Edited December 10, 2011 by Couped Up
