jholmes217 65 Report post Posted August 11, 2011 (edited) For my fellow veterans, Jegs High Performance now has a Military Discount. The discount varies depending on what is ordered, but instead of being a little more expensive than Summit, they will now be cheaper. What you need to do is call them at 1-800-345-4545 and tell them you would like to get a Military Discount. They will ask you to fax or scan and e-mail a copy of your military ID, and once they process it, you will be in their system and the discount should automatically kick in each time you order! I recommend putting tape over your Social Security number 1st though. Edited August 11, 2011 by jholmes217

jholmes217 65 Report post Posted August 12, 2011 Not all veterans get an ID card so how would that work? Not sure. I know folks still on Active duty, Reserves, National Guard, and retirees get an ID card. Other folks that served may qualify by send a copy of your DD 214. You would have to call them and see if you qualify. I'd just make sure you cover your SSN on whatever you send in.

Being a USN retiree I will definetly use Jegs over Summit. Had some problems in the past with Summit but nothing major. Glad to see some more support for the troops!Tom BTW thanks for the info
