10yearsgone 15 Report post Posted March 20, 2013 Thanks guys, Steering box seems to be an issue even on standard port placement that's why I was wondering if a raised port might be a benefit bring it up a slight bit higher. But what it sounds like is that extended outward is more the issue and not up higher? Perhaps a set of Ron Morris motor mounts with the 1/2" drop would allow the necessary clearance?
