very fat and very dumb 40 Report post Posted May 21, 2011 I took the covertoble for it's maiden voyage yesterday and I have a couple issues. I took the backing plates off of an 8 inch rear end I had and put them on my 9 inch. One drum is rubbing on the backing plate, I measured the depth and it is 1/16 to 1/8 wider that the other one which appears to be the cause. What the heck?
