How do you use Google/Yahoo to search site?

A while back ago someone posted a way you can put a search string in google/yahoo to search websites. I tried searching for it and could not find it :wacko:. Does anybody have this handy. thanks

I am pretty sure you can just use a colon to seperate what you are searching for and where you want to search, for example typing in boss:69stang.com should call up all threads about boss on this site.
