70 FE Brake Mastercylinder & Booster relocation

Recommended Posts

Guy's,

I have a 70 Fastback with a 427Fe engine, webers, Bla, bla. Anyway I want to clean up the engine bay of as much as possible. (you know the jewel in the box thing) Anyway, I want to relocate what I can (Booster / mastercylinder), so can you guy's let me know what you have done along the lines I am looking.

I ran a seperate power booster (VH40) in the 70's on the inner fender of a street car that worked, however it was a looked a bit messy with lines etc. Anyway let me know

They also make an electric setup but its pricey (about $950 IIRC) http://www.abspowerbrake.com/maincatalog_frameset010.html

Page 79 of the catalog, not sure where it opens up at for you.

You still have the M/C in the engine bay but it is billet. The booster is remote mounted outside the engine bay, typically in the fender well area.
