very fat and very dumb 40 Report post Posted May 31, 2010 Are you talking about the chrome trim on the coupe/convertible side scoops? You have to grind the tabs off the back side. If you do a search on the forum I beleive there are other threads that discuss it in more detail. I suspect the new chrome will have a way to secure them to the scoop. rangerdoc 22 Report post Posted May 31, 2010 If I'm recalling correctly I believe you can access the scoop mounts via the rear seat of the car. You have to remove the rear quarter trim panel (easy...3 or 4 screws), watershield, and then you'll see the two mounts. Once the scoop is off you'll have easy access to the chrome tabs.
