14 x 7 Magnums, What size front tires?

What size front tires are you running. I tried a pair of 225-60-14's but the sidewalls rub on the upper ball joint. I had to use a 1/4" wheel spacer to get them to fit but now my wheel studs are too short.

Hi FURY. I'm running BF GOODRICH RADIAL T/A P205/70R14's on the Front, and P245/60R14's on the rear. All stock suspension and no problems.

On my 70 Mach1, i'm using 215 70R 14 inch tires on Magnum 500 rims. No rubbing at all. I'm running 225 60R 15 inch tires on Magum 500 rims on my 69. No rubbing at all.

The larger the diameter wheel, the wider the tire you can run on the front. Larger diameter wheels move the tire above the upper ball joint. That's the limiting factor on tire width in the front on a vintage Mustang. I have 215/65/15's on the front of my car. I might be able to squeeze 225's on the front. But I have tubular upper A-arms.
