DeLoreanDMC81 10 Report post Posted March 31, 2010 Hey guys I was wondering if you could help me out on something? I'm trying to put my '69 Mach 1 back together and have no idea what you call those 2 plastic pieces that go around the inner headlights on the grill? The previous owners didn't have the right screws holding these on and I'm trying to get the correct parts ordered. If anyone could help me out I'd really appreciate it. Thanks! jmlay 80 Report post Posted March 31, 2010 I will go check mine in a bit but I remember it being a Phillips head screw, not sure of the plating.

tony 63C 14 Report post Posted April 1, 2010 They're called "headlamp doors". It appears that all you need are the black finished phillips head screws pictured in the inset below. One of each screw per door. It'll be obvious to you which ones go where. The complete AMK kit for all four headlights is shown as well. DeLoreanDMC81 10 Report post Posted April 1, 2010 Thanks so much for your help guys, this is exactly the information I was looking for! So now I've already got the mounting kit identified in the Mustang magazine and now I can go ahead and order the correct stuff. Thanks again!!
