not sure then my 69 came with a crate moter and did not have that i had to drill and tap a hole for it

are you sure its the factory installed moter or has it ben replaced at some time

Its for the clutch it holds the z bar

I paid 6k for my coupe it was a 351eng 4 speed drum brakes and little to no rust eng and trans not in the car had put that all in and the interior was real bad

This is what i have on my 66 302 eng

yes it has the wide ratio 4 speed not sure how it works out yet it had 2.77 rear end gears to start with

got it out and cleaned it for the first time in three years looks good out side i think it had a inch of dust on it but it is geting closer to done
