power steering pump upgrade?

Has anyone used a later model pump on their car? I'm going to be reinstalling the power steering on my car, but have to purchase a new pump. Rather than buy the original style pump, is there one that will work better?

I used a pump from a mid 80's F150. Apparently this pump came in a lot of ford vehicles of that era. FINALLY! No leaks!

 

It's almost a bolt in thing, but you'll need a custom high pressure line.
