Wheels hit upper control arm, should I

Recommended Posts

After the recent talk in other threads about suspension and the fact that my 18" boyd rims that I just took off my other car hit the UCA and prevent the wheel from turning I'm wondering if the 1" upper control arm drop will remedy this?

So I'm thinking about doing the drop and while I'm at it add the roller perches as well. Anyone else ran into the same problem with the rim hitting the UCA? And what UCA would you go with?

So I thought about the situation some more and this obviously will not help but maybe if I use a non stock uca the wheels may clear. I'm going to do some measuring but does anyone know some good aftermarket ones to look at?

What width and offset (or backspace) are the wheels?

They may touch the UCA when the car is in the air, but what about on the ground?

Are you running a lot of negative camber?
