Cupid 10 Report post Posted October 2, 2008 I have this: http://store.schumachermart.com/se-1-12s.html Had it hooked up for about a week. I don't have a problem with it, but I am a little concerned. It says it shuts itself off, but I hear it 'huming' constantly and it's warm to the touch. I could understand if the battery was not charge. I would expect the unit to be on and get warm, but it indicates my battery 'is' charged. Has anybody had the same experience with their battery maintainer? coz 108 Report post Posted October 3, 2008 Mine is a Sears model and it constantly hums because it is spinning the fan. Mine is also warm to the touch and has a self shutoff option. Even with the battery at 100% the tender still monitors the "juice" so think of it as barely on or in standby. No worries.... Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
