S code 69 13 Report post Posted June 15, 2008 On the Mopars we use a conversion U joint to go up or down to fit both size yokes used on an 8 3/4 " . Is there one made to do the same thing on the two different size 8" and 9" Ford yokes? it seems there should be but I can't find a number. Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Mufflerbearing 0 Report post Posted June 16, 2008 Yes, they make a conversion U joint. When I swapped rears in my buddies fast back from 8" to 9" you had to use a conversion U joint.
