Anyone else notice that though he claims it to be a mach 1 it isn't. Probably what the studio said.

To me the history of the car other than the movie would be more interesting...

 

The flare on the rear quarters is too large and there's no quarter scoop... probably an early 69-70 replacement quarter. The drivers door is low to both the fender and the quarter. The hood fit is terrible as well.
