not familiar with the Pantera? DeTomasa of Italy built the cars they contracted with Ford for the engines, actually many Italian and English sports cars used American engines during the 50's, 60's,70's and even today some still do.

Yeah the engine builder that did my 351C does alot of Panteras. Saw an all aluminum engine he did a couple of years back. 900hp bad boy stuffed into the ass of a black Pantera with the all glass rear deck. Very impressive and fast....
