Power Steering Q

Is there some type of PS pump that has no pulley? I read somewhere on the net that Shelby developed a unit that was propietary for use in 67-68...help?

some late model GM's (mostly saturns) have an electric ppwer steering system and flaming river has just come out with their version of that system (or one like it)

I'm looking more for Early Ford/Shelby...I know there was a site that dealt specifically with the Shelby deal, but now I can't find it. :(
