1969Delete 10 Report post Posted February 20, 2007 Thanks in advance to anyone who can help me. I want to put together a "heater delete" car. Did Ford produce cars without a heater? If so, what are the details on these cars. What exactly is missing or altered in one of these cars? I want my car to look factory correct. My car currently has a heater system. Does the heater box remain? Are the controls there but non-funtioning? Are the holes in the firewall but plugged? Any advice or pictures would be great! bnickel 10,004 Report post Posted February 21, 2007 i don't think there was an available heater delete option for road going titled 69 mustangs, maybe as stripped down race car that wasn't titled for road use.
69grandecj 0 Report post Posted February 21, 2007 I think it may have been offered in '69 but extremely rare. For some reason owners in Hawaii requested to delete heaters.
dlinebar 2 Report post Posted February 22, 2007 I thought it was illegal as you need it for defrosters....did not even think you could order a car for the road without it.
