Wiring Harness Rehab

Anyone have any tips on rehabbing an original wiring harness?

 

The harness is good shape and not cut up but the insulation is very stiff in many areas. Just curious if there is some type of liquid that would help revitalize the insulation and keep it from cracking if the wire is bent too tight.

 

Suggestions?

I have not tried it but I have heard that hand cleaner works well for this. Cleans and softens at the same time. I am interested to hear the response to this as well, have one to do myself.

i think the hand cleaner would probably work best, the kind with lanolin
