Hood latch kit - How hard to install?

Thinking about putting a hood latch kit on my 70 fastback - how hard are they to install? I figure I need to get my hood lined up as well as I'm going to get it before I hook them up.

There is a hood template that shows you where to make the holes, same as the shaker hood template. Or the other option is to get someone to measure an original 69 hood for pin locations in the hood & radiator support. You can get one from Ebay. However the 70's uses a twist lock rather than hood pins, just depends how "correct" &/or the look you are going for.
