Anyone using a valve cover bolt like this?

Recommended Posts

I know there is a more popular Ford Racing version like this but it's just too many repeated Ford logos on the bolt head for my taste. This is a clean Billet one made by UPR but I am curious how this type of bolt looks on a completed engine so if any one has a pic using a simillar type please post it. I'm pretty sure I will like it but it never hurts to see it before ordering.

personally i always thought style looked like a bunch of tire valve stem caps sticking up out of the valve covers. i prefer either stock bolts, allen bolts or phillps head screws. i've even used slotted screwdriver screws for a different look before. my favorite would have to be the allen heads though.

My favorite valve cover bolt: A stud. ...

Very true. With the right length stud you can use stainless acorn nuts to top it off as well.

I use at least one stud on each side with with my intakes, makes it easier to align and I've never had issues.
