Seat - Will It fit My 69?

Recommended Posts

I've been doing some searching for a new style seat that will fit at a reasonable cost. 199$ is obviously loooow priced. I am just looking for WHAT WILL FIT.

Right now I have the original buckets, however the drivers side broke to where the back has fallen completely off.

Generally speaking just about any seat within reason will fit if you use the original bucket seat tracks and mod them to the bottom of the new seat. Most modern track designs lift the seat too high from the floor not leaving enough clearance between your legs and the wheels.

I put seats from a Camaro into my Ford Bronco II just by unbolting the old rails and bolting the Ford ones onto them. Standard seat sizing is a real Boon.

Yeah some don't require mods to adapt the original track at all, always a plus. I'm putting 85' Fiero GT seats with headrest speakers into my convertible and I had the same luck bolting the old tracks right onto it with no mods.
