  1. i am about ready to pull my hair that i have left out, I have my mustang about ready to start and noticed that the shift rods for the toploader are not long enough especially reverse, I was wondering if anyone had the same problem, Yea I probably should have put a hurst shifter in it but I put the original shifter in. The rods are repro but the packaging said 65-68 on it, I was researching it I found some that NPD sells but they are out of stock and they are specifically for a 69 year only, I also thought about cutting the old one and welding some rod to lengthen them, any thoughts would be greatly appreciatly.

  15. I am restoring a 69 sportsroof and the quarters were rusted badly so I bought new full quarters for both sides I got one of the old ones off and trimed out and it looks like the original one was mated under the roof after I melted the lead out with a torch I could see it and when I chopped the old one off I went a inch from where it mated the new panel is recessed where it would go under the roof and my question is has anyone ever done this and what would be the best way to get the rest of the old one out from under the roof, Thanx for your help
