No pics on a fb Jeremy. I plan on not using my field down rear seat, when I get to that point. I'll probably use 12 or 14 gauge metal, and use rollers to fit the curved opening. I'll bolt it in place so it's reversible if needed. Two seats is plenty for me and all my friends :)

A relatively easy and cheap early to reduce torsional flex in our creaky unibodies is to add a metal plate to the opening in the area directly behind the rear seat which is open to the trunk. I have a link somewhere where a guy on VMF did a flex analysis testing various common add ons. It reduced twist much more than sf connectors, export brace and others.

I doubt anyone will see the repair. And you have the benefit of a properly fitting door.

If you have the space, save them. After you use the parts you need off the Mach 1 M code, and if you don't want it around put it up for sale. Even rusted shells bring some money.

Nice kit. Shows that you don't need to spend a small fortune to get nice rear disc brakes with a parking brake.

Good luck! I know of no a-m hood lip moldings which are acceptable. I was at NPD in Ventura, Ca a couple of weeks ago, they had zero mouldings. The employee said he didn't know of any quality repops available. I'm gonna bite the bullet, open my wallet and pay for my original to be repaired.

If I were doing it, I'd fab the filler pieces needed, trim the hole in the new door panel, skin the door with the new panel, then weld the filler piece. i would want the extra strength of the complete door for less warpage. The weld from the outside if done slowly with small spot type welds, will clean up nicely with little filler and will be plenty strong. Just my 2¢.

Nice fab work. I feel your pain on the galvanized welds as I recently installed convertible inner rockers on my Mach.

Ordering? I'm not Buening, but I believe the pdf attachment is for folks to make their own eccentric eliminators. But, I may be wrong.

Nice! What front disc brakes are you using? Any pics of the rebuilt engine?

I think quality speakers in the holes would look better than trying to fill them with fiberglass. Don't know how you could match the grain without making a mold.

Tubal Cain is a gem. Mucho knowledge in that man. Been through all his vids more than once.
