I have the Hedman ceramic with stage 8 header bolts in my car for the last 2-3 weeks. My 351w was stock. No issues so far.

I have a set of tri bar lights in the wings. I am hesitating due to the cutting needed for the headlight aiming buckets. Did yours fit in with needing to be cut?

Looks beneficial for all rads. Do you have this in your car? -

Northern Al Radiators vs brass copper

A couple of things: I am sure I can find some shielded wire with terminal ends and likely to be copper. The Davis ones look like thin wire rope. Can I take 4 points on the rad to one point to ground for each side? For antifreeze, I usually use premix only. I'll check the label for the distilled water. -

How many ground wires are needed. This kit has a fair number. Are you grounding where the supports mee the rad? -

Hmm. Springs in an interesting idea. The grounding is to eliminate electrolysis? -

Thanks Mike, I have both the aluminum arriving tomorrow and a brass copper to assess fit. Both are returnable to the local parts place and only 20-40 apart in price. The warranty is only a year on the Northern but lifetime on the champion. -
Northern Al Radiators vs brass copper

Thanks Bob. Strange thing is that there are only 2 people in my city that will repair the brass ones. They wanted $350-400 for this work. Since this is the second rad replacement, I don't have the oem rad anymore. Don -

Thanks Mike. I am hoping someone can tell me if this rad will need modifications to fit. It doesn't show up on any of the mustang supply sites so knowledge is lacking. -
Trying make a choice. Rad leak this week. Not many places rebuild or recode anymore. New price for standard rad is $225. The Northern is on sale for $265 around here. Any experiences to share on the aluminum ones vs regular ones. http://www.streetortrack.com/Northern-ALL-PRO-aluminum-radiator-205137-pr-21406.html

That's an interesting idea. I have an old mag 500 that is a 5.5 width.
-
What brand and model of headers did you buy? Might be fair warning to us on fitment issues. Good luck with solving the problem.

Did the cars come with full size or space savers? I am running 15 in tires right now. I have been operating with no spare for years.

Revision to post. He did not have the lenghth needed.

I've come across a craigslist post for stainless steel piping. He says it is sanitary s-steel and he has the 2.5 in I am looking for. Any thoughts on urging this for my mid and tail pipes? I have an old h pipe set up with magnaflow Ss that are less than 6 mos old and I have a set of patriot ceramic headers to hook up. Yes, I am trying to save $. How many feet would I need for the dual exhaust system?
-
Now here's an option as well for mo $. http://www.stangnet.com/mustang-forums/threads/grant-horn-button-fix.864160/

http://www.grantproducts.com/products/view/400/ This looks like the button that came with my wheel with a logo added. Perhaps this is the cheaper option to wheel replacement.

How much do you want for it?
