Ridge Runner does the 70 Grande have a Landau 2/3 Vinyl Roof top?

Ridge Runner On the rear window trim lower pieces there should be plastic lug clips,would you have any spare ones of them I only need 2.Cheers Phil

I used undiluted cheapest White Vinegar it was cheap & rusty nuts & bolts & parts came up like new.

Thanks fordguy69,RPM & Caseyrhe ,I do have the Tack strips already I just didn't know how the headliner was secured at the ends of the package tray on the 70 Coupe.Maybe Ridge Runner might know what they look like.Thanking you all Phil

Thanks fordguy69 .Are you or anyone able to let me know if these plates are made of metal & if so do they have barbs on them like the tack strips or are they smooth & how long & wide are they (a photo would be great )it would be very much appreciated.I might have to make them if I can't get a set.Anyone got a unwanted set?Another might be a stupid question is when fitted do the tack strips have the barbs (pointing downward) facing outwards or inwards on the quarter panels. I purchased a (1970 Grande Coupe) here in Australia 2 1/2 years ago that was completely disassembled in pieces & I'm trying to put it back together as a drive car .Thankyou to all the members in 69Stang for all your time spent putting so much info on this site.It's so very helpfull.I'm very pleased to be a new member. Has anyone any photos of what is used to hold the headliner tight at the bottom of the rear pillars on parcel tray rack.I have the Headliner Tack strips for the rear quarters,but I think that there must be something up on parcel tray where it meets the pillar.Thanks Phil

Thanks Bob & Max Power,I need to put the roof trim across the roof top on because the two end cast pieces are held on by a nut on the underside of the roof ,so that once on I can then put the headliner in.I have got a CD on 1970 Car shop manual Ford volumes 1 to V but there is no reference to the Landau Vinyl roof fitment. Just wondering if any members might have a 1970 Mustang Parts & Body Illustrations CD or manual if they could see if there was any reference to the fitting of a 2/3 Landau Vinyl roof,or if there is any member that may have fitted one. WTB 69-70 Mustang L/H Sport Bullet Mirror parts ,I have a good housing but am looking for remote cable,screws ,or complete mirror with damaged housing that could be stripped for parts.Has to have control Knob holder at 90 degrees to cables.

Would anyone have photos,diagrams or any suggestions on where I could try & get this information on how the Roof Trim molding (2/3 Landau Vinyl Roof) sits over the Vinyl edging across the roof. Showing if the vinyl is cut off infront of the roof pins or if it is cut off at edge of rear of trim ,also if the clips that hold the trim down sit on the roof itself or on top of the vinyl, Cheers Phil

WTB '70 Grande Coupe Landau 2/3 Vinyl Roof Top molding Trim which goes across roof top,comes in four pieces,I don't require the two short cast ends I only require the two long pieces.Attached top picture shows molding. Cheers Phil No longer required purchased off EBay

I am trying to get 2 of the plastic lugs (as seen in the attached Photos) that fit in the aluminium bottom lower sections of the rear window molding trim & holds the window molding trim to the lower trim clips would anyone have any. Thanking you Phil

I read a post of Max Power on the forum Oct 2013 that he had owned 2 1970 Grande Coupes with Vinyl roofs. I tried to send him a PM but it would't go through,so Max Power if you see this it would be great to hear from you. I am in Australia & am presently restoring a 1970 Grande Coupe with the Landau 1/2 vinyl roof. I bought the car completely disassembled in pieces. There were no clips that hold the chrome trim that goes across the roof. I have had great difficulty in trying to source some. Would anyone have any photos of the clips or any spare Clips or would anyone know where I might be able to buy some. I am also trying to buy 2 of the plastic lugs (as seen in the attached Photos) that fit in the aluminium lower rear window trim & holds the window trim to the lower trim clips would anyone know where I might be able to get these.
