Ha!! We are thinking it'll be done with paint by end of next week, then it'll be fully onto assembly.
-
Thanks! I am digging to see where we sourced the mirrors from. Will post where once I find it.
-
Thanks! We are really happy with it
-
Nice work!
-
Thanks! The color is incredible in person.. The mirrors are from a hotrod shop online, I'm sure I can dig up the site. The paint is a custom formulated ppg base that was laid over a black ppg base.

Annnd some pics of the car in it's current state

Few more parts in the booth

It's a piece of billet aluminum that we painted black except for the front lip. The color scheme of the car is red/black/billet aluminum, so that was a way for us to tie it all in to the rest of the car.

Thank you! Car should be buffed by tomorrow afternoon, so I'm going to try to get some really nice shots with our DLSR camera.
-
Haha! I think it'll be better served to put it on the front of the car ;)

Haha, just didn't want to clutter up the build thread.

Thanks! A bunch have asked about that, we are still mulling it over. I can PM you once we come to a decision/form a plan.

Thank you!

Really cool build, that thing is going to scream!

Thank you! We are extremely pleased with it, it really pops in the light. It's a custom formulated PPG based paint. Reassembly is next so we hope to see her on her wheels soon enough!
-
It'll have 5 or 6 total. I believe 3 were laid down then wet sand/block, then another 2 or 3, wet sand & buff then done. We used all PPG products.
-
Thank you! Same here, the splitter and wheels should really stand out.
-
Happy happy happy, ha!

Thanks!
