what did you do to your C4 that makes it stay together behind that motor?

If they are original, the heads will be facing down. The top pin can be driven out...The bottom will hit the door if you try driving it out with the door on.

Go ahead and ask the seemingly obvious question. My experience is that members of this forum are not out to flame anyone for asking for help. :helpsmilie:

Wish all my manuals/diagrams were in PDF. Thanks!

(WED35) 25% off... Not sure if this is a blanket coupon or a one shot deal. If you use it and it works let everyone know.
I just went to the site, it's a blanket coupon...with exemptions to big ticket items.

The end of this video tells you everything you want to know about window glass and component compatibilty

I have a 408 and 4 speed toploader...
For those that have lowered their engine with a similar combo...(like the Ron Morris 1/2" drop motor mounts)
Did you modify (lower) your existing tranny crossmember? or is there a convenient bolt on solution?
-
I see that you machined your heads...Valve guides seem to be the weak link (excessive wear) in the pro comp aluminum head. If they are original, she's gonna smoke (if it isn't already)

I paid $40 plus ship just for the little spring steel electrical switch...not easy to find used, never found a repo vendor

If there is still a bead showing on the tip you could couple it together with a dog tag (Army Dog Tag chain)

Has anybody ever seen or used this type of air induction? (Notice the hood cut out). Wouldn't this type of setup suck in moisture and air? Trying to figure out if this was professionally or individually engineered...

Is the spacesaver functional...will your calipers clear the rim/offset?

I got the skins and so far it's worked out well. I worked with the theory that I wanted to keep as much original metal as I could. You can see in the pic where my seams are. This way I kept the original rear window area, scoop area, sail area, door jam and rear taillight area.Is that a Butt or Fillet Weld?

Need '70 door glass bolt on brackets and associated hardware. Also willing to trade (have lots of '69 parts just ask)
I just need the driver's side. Thanks!

The rear bumper is ours. Steve purchased one from Anvil for over 400.00 and we had 800.00 in labor making it fit. Since we spent that much time making it fit, I decided to just make a mold. Now we sell the rear bumper for 295.00.What's the difference between your bumper and the snug bumper that Maier offers? Is it fiberglass or Carbon fiber?

Those are Ford styled stripes, this model is called a Grabber Special (poor man's Boss 302), just another marketing scheme trailing on the heals of a real Boss 302. They will be going on the car when I get to painting it.Didn't go with Rushforths, but did use the style and paint scheme as depicted from Jason
Formula 43, RAD 14's
OK, I just educated myself on what a "Grabber Special" was...and also came across a "Twister Special" so many models/editions in 69/70. Wow

The more you dig the more rust you will find, if your not good with a MIG...you will be by the end of your project. Pace yourself and make sure your foundation is good prior to rebuild. Your in for the long haul now that your interior is out. Pretty much every piece of metal that can be replaced is documented on these boards. Good Luck!

Jason is cool to work with. He can give you a bunch of ideas, along with custom finishes so no one else will have your exact wheel. He doesn't actually manufacture his wheels, another shop does that, he just designs. Saw some in person a month or so ago, nice looking wheels. I had him photo shop some Night Trains in different colors, so I could get a general idea. They would be worth saving for.The 69' Boss signage looks odd on the 70, kinda detracts from how potentially cool those rims could be
Do I need seat pans?
