    Ive been odereing from the about 6-7 times this year already and yes there a lot of times that things are on backorder but you ALWAYS eventually get it.

  3. Think I found the problem. Looks like one of the plug wires was touching my new headers and burned it. So whats some good plugs and wires to get?

  7. Fuel filter was clean. The one in the engine bay on top the intake is the only one right?

  9. Just took it for a spin and it does it from a dead stop. The popping is only from anywhere from idle to 30mph but it runs a little ruff anywhere but when Im running around 50+ it will sometimes just clear up and run great and sometimes wont. Checked the plugs and their fine.

  11. My stang sat for a month. When I took it out the other day, I noticed when I accelerate to half throttle it gets a small backfire and hesitates then will clear up and run fine. What could be causing this? Ihave a 69 with 351w, full exhaust, pertonix 3, edelbrock carb, timing at 12.

  14. Why go with 20's on a mach1? 18's should be about the limit on a classic car and the tires will be much cheapers and easier to get.
  15. Why go threw all the trouble for an inferior engine (sohc)? Build a pushrod stroker and you can push 500rwhp with a small block easier and cheaper! Of course you wouldnt have the cool factor.
  16. Hey stephen, can you tell me exactly how much wider teh 4r is than the fmx where exhust would be concerned? I JUST got my exhuat on and modified last week and wanna check to see if I got the headers bent wide enough for the 4r.
  17. It doesnt take place of the vent, I believe the vent is still usable. I havent even got the panels cause their backordered from cj's.
  18. With SO many brake kits out there its really tuff deciding what to go with. Well, whats your opinions on this kit for my 69: http://www.ssbrakes.com/commerce/detail/index.cfm?nPID=8741 $800 on their site for red powdercoat but cj has em on sale for $600! Was gonna go with a bullitt 13" setup cause eventually Ill be puttin on 17" shelby razor rims on, but that kit would cost more whan all said and done. I could run this kit now with my 15" magnums. Think 11" rotors would look stupid with 17" wheels? How well would they compare with the bullitt kit and Id be converting to power brakes so Id need a booster, proportioning valve, and mc. Anything else I would need?

  21. Wow, 4.10 with those tranny gears would make 1st gear almost useless with a 408 pushing it. Might go 373 though.
  22. actually I had a 95 vert that had an auto and was way heavier than this car that would chirp 3rd!
  23. Trust me gears are coming right after I install my 4r70w. With its steeper first and second, Im just not sure what to go with. Probally 3.50 so it will be like 4.10's with a fmx or aod.
  24. No it wont bake the tires from a stop which I think it should. Im running 12 degrees of timing. Its has small gears for now, 3.00. Still, that shouldnt matter THAT much!
  25. sparkplugs are fine. Maybe Ill throw a weiand stealth and the 750 on there and see how it goes. You think that would be ok? Eventually its gonna be a 408 and wanna use parts I can use on both for now.
