  1. Here´s a link to plenty of pics! https://www.icloud.com/photostream/#A2532ODWCsFeU
  2. Its for street use only, no racing and stuff. The engine runs great so I´m thinking leaving the engine as is (maybe). Its not attended to be in car shows and win prices either. Hope that helps a bit!
  3. Ok, Like the title says. I have a 69 sports roof, build code 63B (if it matters). Its pretty much stock as it is. 351W probably rebuilt a bit, what I know is that it has a Holley intake and carb. 4 speed top loader. What would you guys do if you had 7k to put in to the car? keep the ideas coming!!
  4. Sweet! Thanks! I will probably get wheel and column for about $130.. I've seen wheels in worse condition go for hundreds of buck on eBay! Cheers!
  5. Ok, good. So as longest it's a 69 cougar wheel I'm good to go?!
  6. Probably will get a god price on a 69 cougar steering wheel, a rim blow. Is it the same that fit our 69 stangs? Except for the center pad! Thanks!
  7. Ah, ok! Thanks for the input! :thumbup1:
  8. Hey Have a 69 I bought last christmas. And I believe there is some work done on the engine (a 351W 4v). Is there any way I can see, preferebly from the outside, what heads I´ve got? Thanks all you Mustang gurus out there!! /Mattias
  9. Thanks for the inputs guys!! I´ve got the 4 speed top loader so no auto. Well the engine does a little bit of dieseling from time to time. but not when I have had it on idle for a short while before shutting it off. So I´m thinking lowering the idle might help. Guess the adjustments are just fine, just me thinking I should have better vacuum.
  10. Once again I'm all ears to the experts on this forum! So, here's the deal. Imported this nice 69 sports roof around Christmas. At first the engine hesitated when a I hit the pedal, so I adjusted the floats.. Great success! So I thought I would set the idle mixture as well so I know what I've what adjustments I have! Connected my vacuum gauge at started the adjustments according to Holley's instructions. All I get is 15-16inHg @ 1.5 turns out from closed position. Slightly irrattic (not much 0.5 inHg approx.) Idle is fine, maybe a bit high, 800-900rpm. Engine set up: 351W 4bbl Holley 8045-7s (electric choke) Holley Dominator intake Heads, cams..haven't idea. Tried to research from the dealer I bought from and the owner before that with no luck. So.. My question is, is that an ok vacuum reading? I'm thinking there might be a mild cam in it too...
  11. Personally I think the Magnums are the way to go ! They look great on our cars.
  12. I say... Do it!
  13. Someone has on his iPad :) Here´s one tilted a bit..
  14. Edited a pic of my stang I took last night when cruising around town. The app is called Snapseed and is free I believe.
  15. Thanks for the tip. I'll look in to these diff option. Great forum this is.. As Yoda would have said!
  16. Haha.. thats one way of doing it! Just read a post on the Holley Forum and that gut fixed the leaking freeze plug with JB-Weld...
  17. Well.. I got a leaking Holley. Its quite a reasonable amount of leakage. Is the area from where it leaks fixable or is just crap!? (see picture) thanks
  18. I suspected that. The horn doesn't work either, good thing I just bought a new horn ring! Thanks for the input!
  19. Noticed tonight that all lights, in the instrument cluster and head lights go out when turning the steering wheel. Had the turn signal switch changed the other day. Could it be a glitch in the switch!? Or the connection under the dash?
  20. I put LEDs in just the speedo and fuel/temp gauge. Cheap single LED, white. This is the result. Although the dimming does not work.
  21. Should be three wires coming into the bulb socket. Where of one is ground. As said above it sounds like a ground issue. I had the same issue but on the other side.
  22. Fn sweet! I'd like a big block my self! Just started out with my first classic stang.. a 69 with a 351W..some day..some day.
  23. Hi Bryan!

Strange! I thought I replied to you the other day but now I saw that the reply probably didn't go!

I see, cool. Funny to stumble upon a semi swede on this forum.

Yes, every year there is a show in Varberg called Wheels and Wings, both airplanes and cars. I have never been but this year I guess I have to! :)

Every since I was a kid I have always wanted a 69 sports roof. My older brother had a 69 convertible that I restored when I was kid. So this winter I just decided to, what the hell, let's do it. I searched the web, carsonline.com, craigslist and some other places but finally found this car at coyoteclassics.com . So bought and had it shipped over in December! Now I'm just waiting for the spring to come so I can enjoy it fully.

Are you planing on coming over this year?

How did the museum visit go?

    Ha det bra så länge!

    Med vänliga hälsningar,
