  2. Glass scratch removal is pretty tricky, not much can be removed and you have to be very careful of heat buildup and possibly of cracking. Vision distortion is another concern....Good luck
  3. That's a really great number for the chroming!!!!! Wish mine were that inexpensive. The hardest part was finding a set of un-dented ones.
  4. I've got a set of quarter window boomerangs off of our '70 Mach. No pits, the chrome is pretty good, keep in mind it is 40+ year old chrome. These are original ford ones, would work nice for a driver. Will post photos if anybody is interested. $40.00 for the pair....

  14. Excellent 'stang, excuse me for drooling on the screen...
  15. Did the Sandersons fit better? A few years ago I tried unsucessfully to put a set of hookers on our 70 351 4v, they hit everywhere. The plain old black jacks almost fall out when the bolts are removed. The hooker folks told me that the chassis was tweaked...
  16. I would like to find a straight reasonably priced set of stamped steel "Power by Ford" valve covers for my cleveland. I plan on chrome plating them, thus the dent free request. Thanks.....
  17. Is yours still available? If so how much? Thank you...

  22. Hello all, I'm getting ready to put a set of original louvers on our '70 Mach, had to buy a set of hold downs. Is there a gasket to go under them? thanks for any advice....
  23. Hi, I am going to be putting a set of factory louvers on our '70 Mach, and a question for the masses, what kind of well nut is used, rubber or metal type and I may have to buy some hold downs, how is the quality with the ones available from various venders? Thanks for any opinions.....
