  1. Yikes, I dont think that ended well!
  2. I'm not a big gamer but I could sure get into this! http://www.joystiq.com/2011/12/15/five-screen-racing-rig-is-as-close-as-you-can-come-to-the-real-d/?ncid=webmail14
  3. Never mind, I found an old thread, its a small bearing.
  4. I'm looking around still trying to determine what brake kit to go with and now I have a new question. How do you identify that your 9" rear end has small bearing rear axles? A lot of the kits I see specifically mention this and I'm not sure what to look for to make sure I get the right kit ordered.
  5. I have been curious about the fitment of a late model Mustang console. The prices I have seen are fair, I'm just not that talented with fab work.
  6. Lookin good! Is that a custom center console? It's a nice fit!
  7. If you dont mind me asking what did your set up cost?
  8. BuckeyeDemon can I ask you a favor when you get a chance do you happen to have a pic that shows how your tach is mounted?
  9. You bet! Has anyone here used a narrower rear to allow for a wider tire? The guy I'm talking to about the rear end has several and wanted to know if I would be interested in going that route. Not sure what to do! Looking under the car that makes sense, you can tell that there would still be enough clearance on the inside of the tire and reducing width would allow for a wider tire. He is checking on the pins on the housing to verify that they are the same width to line up with the leafs. I'll see what he comes up with.
  10. Good news!! Sounds like I found a 9" rear with 3.56 gears drum to drum for $650. The guy only wants what he has in it in parts. He said he wants to go in a different direction. Works for me!
  11. I always have plenty of that on hand! Congrats on your wedding. I call it my '69 now but my car was actually my wifes when I meet her. I knew she was a keeper. Before I meet her I had a nice 68 Torino GT fastback with a 390. I decided to let the car go after we got married ( no room in the garage), I do miss it but I have always been a bigger fan of the Mustang.
  12. Love the car man! Is it tough to keep that flat black hood looking sharp? What do you use to detail it?
  13. Thanks for the input folks! I dont know if I can refrain from playing a little so I guess I need to upgrade. I know I need to find a rear end out of a 67-70 Mustang but some Lincoln models will work also correct? Anyone know what years I'd be looking for?
  14. Can a 8" rear end get beefed up enough to put 450 horses through it? I intend to upgrade at some point to a 9" but I'm running out of budget at this point so I was hoping I could upgrade my current 8". Thanks for your thoughts!
  15. Nice! I cant decide what I should run in mine. I am having a 347 built with between 450-500 hp. I plan on just cruising the car and want a gear selection that will work well with interstate speeds. Any thoughts?
  16. Cool story! Not to many barn finds left I would imagine. Good luck getting it up and running!
  17. Your hard work is inspiring. Cant wait to see the final results.
  18. It looks like I'm needing to change out my headlight harness and I just have a question about the wiring going into the firewall. It looks like it simply plugs into the wall but I didn't want to just go jerking on it. Any one have any experience here?
  19. Great! I went ahead and ordered a 20" with the electric fan and the "salesman" said it would bolt right up. Wish me luck!
  20. Do you know of a good supplier to order the Granada kit from?
  21. Looking to cool a 500 hp 347 stoker. What do you all think of this set up or do you have any different ideas? Thanks http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1967-1968-1969-1970-Ford-Mustang-3-Row-Radiator-Dual-Fans-Aluminum-Shroud-/110746133834?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&fits=Year%3A1969|Model%3AMustang&hash=item19c8fbe54a
