  3. Thank you all very much for the immediate solutions to my problem. I ordered the 1.5" wheel spacers from ebay. Thank you pakrat again for your help. You all are awesome.
  4. I tried the spacers but the threading doesn't allow the nuts to catch. I will look into the wheel adapters. This is my first build so cut me some slack. and yes the back does sit inside the wheel well a couple of inches.
  5. Fellow Enthusiasts, I just ran into a little problem when trying to fit the 2005 Gt rims on the 69. The back fits perfect and looks sweet. The front touches the top part of the suspension and does not allow the wheels to turn. I purchased the 1/4 in wheel spacers. That did not work because the threading does not go out far enough for the nuts to catch. AutoZone did not sell any type of lug nuts that could make this work. I tried 2 different sets. Can anybody help me with a solution? Thank you for taking the time to read my post. Take care.
  6. Lol, thanks I'll take that into consideration.

  10. panteramatt, Lol. No, I'm not new to the country. I just love it. It's funny how some can take it that way. I live in Clifton. Grew up in Woodbridge. I'm in the middle of researching exhausts now. I saw those x pipes on ebay. I want one that sounds good and also performs. This is my first car build so I'm amped.

  12. Pakrat, Thanks for the advice and warm welcome. I love this country. Proudly served 1 tour in the Marines. I figure nothing says it better than good old american muscle. I look forward to chatting it up on here and getting good advice. Also thanks for fast reply. Along with the carb I was looking at flowmaster exhaust systems. I plan on installing those in tandem. BTW your stang looks sweet. -Pierre

  14. Hey guys just bought myself a awsome 69 stang. It has a 351w in it. The body needs paint but its in good shape. The motor runs and sounds strong. Any advice on where to get started? I was thinking the Carb is an easy start. Thanks
