  2. i had a strut rod break on the passenger side today, broke right at the front bolt hole, crunched the lower part of fender, looking at the global west adjustable strut rods, has anyone used these and are you happy with them
  3. my stepson's 07 mustang's alt is only putting out 11.67 volts, what is normal output, battery went dead, charged it and tested it and its good, looking to me like alt, any opinions

  7. bfed, I'm putting an 88 5.0 in my 69 fast back, did you keep the serpentine assy or did you go to a vbelt set up, i have the whole serp set up but have questions about the power steering pump hose hook up to original power steering assy, just wondering what route you took and how it worked
  8. taking my cleveland out to rebuild and am wanting to put a 88 5.0 in but need a front sump oil pan and pick up that will work, going into my 69 fastback with C4 auto, anyone have any experience with these
  9. battery is new, its manual choke but its not hooked up, original 2 barrel carb, tryed choking by hand but no difference, its turning over chugging then shuts off, that first day it was doing it then just started and ran fine, shut it off and started many times when it was hot but when cold i have this problem, today it was chugging then it might idle for 5 or so seconds then shuts off, could it be in the carb
  10. i bought a f100 with a 360 a couple weeks ago, went to test drive it and it was already warm started and ran like a champ, drove it home and next morning went out to start it and took i swear 15 min to start, would turn over and act like it wanted to fire but nothing, then the next time i turned it over fired right up like nothing was wrong, now same thing but cant get it running this time

  12. looking to build the motor for weekend driving, occasionally to the strip, i've seen different kits one from scat, my cleveland now is starting to smoke a little when i really get on it so instead of a regular rebuild i thought i would throw a little more at it
  13. looking to stroke my 351c, has anyone stroked one, looking to buy new alum heads also, any recomendations, does the block have to be clearenced like the 302 block
  14. i checked all gounds, cleaned and tightened back up, even put another on engine to frame, helped a little bit but overall still have problem, i'm going heat shield first and if problem is still there will try mini starter, thanks all for you help

  17. cranks really slow, have headers too and they run close to starter, could it be getting to hot, would a starter blanket help?
  18. does anyone else with a 351c have a hard time starting it when its hot, my starter, alt, starting sol are all new, have a red top optima battery, starts fine when cold and have checked timing all is good, need help
  19. my 69 had the rear louvers when i bought it not sure if they were originals but their metal and in good shape just wondering what color black they should be painted

  21. ok i put new headliner in my 69 fastback but it has more wrinkles than clothes left in a drier for days,lol, any ideas on how to get someof it out
