  1. This is cool. Something for the future for me to do. Has anyone installed one in a 70 fast back yet ( non company)? looking for real life feedback.
  2. Just looking to see basic wheel fitment, dead on and from the rear if you could.
  3. Sm69mach, very nice!! Do you mind posting up some more pics, of the rear tire set up for me? Looking for some close up's. :)
  4. I really liked the TCP front end stuff. Easy to put in and was a major improvement over the stock stuff. Used it for a year then bought a 5.4 so I had to take it all out. Have a R&C in there now, just so I could fit in the wide motor. So I got the TCP stuff sitting on the shelf wondering what to do with it.
  5. Just checking. I will do the same thing this year. I always wait tell the roads are good, take it for a test drive, then go home and check. This should speed up the process by a month or 2.
  6. Nice work! Engine looks right at home there.
  7. If I was to pick a system out for efi: 1)Pick a system that gives you the most support in your area. Since you have limited mechanic skills. Also good tech support in either the ways of forums and/or email. 2)If you have a tuner who hasn't tuned one, I would find out what ecu's he has tuned. I did this the hard way last year. Assuming that a tuner will be tuning it.
  8. I was wondering about 315's in the rear. I think it is possible. Let me know how it turns out. Specs would be good for me when you get it fitted.:)
  9. Nice build! It's a good thing you painted the block blue :D
  10. Sounds interesting. I might be interested if the price is right.
  11. I think my best option is to take it out an physically look. From there I can decide what direction to take.
  12. I will let you know either way.
  13. Real bummer for sure, I have herd good things about their stuff. The column will be a hold up in about 3-6 weeks.
  14. Thanks for the heads up! Appreciate that!
  15. I did actually research the difference in the columns. As it turns out that the only 70 mustangs without a keyed column was the Shelby. They were made in 69. I forgot to add that last night. Moving the ignition isn't a big deal for me, good idea. Now I should use the search button on here. lol
  16. Hello, Need some ideas/help. In the 70 Mach I am doing a rod and customs front end as well as a mod motor swap. The steering column should be rebuilt or swapped out. Perfect time to do it when the motor is out and the new front end is going in. There is some play in the up and down, and a bit side to side after this years season. What are my options? either rebuild it (is that possible to get the parts ect?) or get an aftermarket one. As for the aftermarket one I have emailed flaming river and ididit. ididit doesn't make a 70 model. Seems like flaming river is the only one that makes a direct replacement. Saying that is the flaming river a plug n play? is the plug the same as the factory to clip in ect. Any input from the guys who have replaced theirs or possibly rebuilt their columns? Notes: I'm using a grant steering wheel and the column is a factory tilt. I'm not set on running the factory one. This is a resto mod car and no plans on making it a 100 point car.
  17. Have you posted up your problem on CPG nation forum? A good guy to email would be Brian Macy. He knows his fast stuff. I have a fast xfi and the xim on the Cleveland currently. Going to pull out the Cleveland and putting in a 5.4 twin turbo with the fast system. I like it. Haven't played with the ez stuff though.
  18. I should of said it bothers me for mustangs and supras only. The rest I don't care about for some reason. There's a guy on another forum that I'm on, who put a 2jz in a mustang. That actuall bothers me even tho I love 2jz's lol
  19. It bugs the hell out of me, and I'm not even that old ( 34 ) or am I !? Lol

Yes I all ready have a 5.4 mod. Got it from a 2008 shelby gt500 minus the blower. Was planing on going twin or single turbo. I also have a t55 magnum as well but not sure on what bell housing and clutch to get. Look forward to your update on your thread.
