I used the flat end of a can opener with masking tape wrapped around it. I started at the front and pried gently at the bottom side, moving back and forth along the edge until the end finally popped loose. Then I just worked my way back, removing the moulding.

in 2001, I paid $2500 for my pretty rusty but complete 69 Mach 1 351W 4V 4 speed....

I hear ya. Mine's been sitting for a while too, but a couple of weeks ago my schedule finally allowed me to get back to it.
Question: Flipping the car on it's side with this setup - is it a one man job? What about putting it back down? I assume it takes at least two able bodied people, no?
Two people... me and my 18 year old son did it. Piece of cake!

Smack the solenoid with a screwdriver handle and see if it stops. If so, it's sticking. Buy a better quality piece. I have not had any luck with the ones from Autozone and such places.

I have a set of high backs seats from an 82 that have a very similar shape, but the upholstery style doesn't match your seats.

Maybe someone who is successfully active on the forum can ask someone there?

The topic of a registry comes up every now and then. There are a few out there, but they seem to have gone inactive. I would love to create one, but I don't have even the most basic knowledge regarding how to make it happen.

Years ago, I shipped parts all over the world via USPS. However, when I ran a quick, rough quote for this part today, it was over $60, if I recall correctly.
-
Ouch, Australia. I probably have it in the garage but it would be so expensive to ship!

Seems like I remember reading one of the industrial suppliers still carried the original formula after it changed... grainger or mcmaster-carr or someone like that.
Nevermind... a little research seems to point to them selling until their stock ran out.... which was years ago.

I agree with barnett468. If I recall correctly from my car audio days many years ago, higher frequencies are easier for our ears to localize. You should have them close to your midrange speakers, ideally.

Where are you located? Never mind.... NC. Might talk to Scotty Strickland. He is in NC, I think. Find him on facebook.... or sbsmustang@yahoo.com

I used Dynacorn... haven't had any issues with them.

Doesn't scream scam to me, but more like they paid too much and don't realize they are going to take a huge loss selling it. A scammer would use a more attractive, finished car to draw more attention and price it low. This is the opposite.

I'm pretty sure the T adapter is a factory Ford part used on the 351W. It's been awhile since I've looked at my engine, but I'm fairly certain that is how Ford did it.

You can always try scotty in oxford nc. He is always cutting up 69/70 mustang for parts. You can find him on www.craigslist.com in raleigh nc area. Search for 69 mustang and look for him in oxford. he sells seats and other 69/70 parts. i have been to his house and he has everything there. tons of mustangs parts and cars. he does not ship alot of stuff but he may be able to help you out.
You can also find Scotty Strickland on Facebook. I think he is a member of all the 69-70 Mustang related groups. His email is sbsmustang@yahoo.com

So far, there is no quick way to find the new thread number that I have found.

What site links are you referring to? If it's linking to the old forum posts, then no, they will not work.
I'll look into the subscriptions issue but I'm fairly certain the answer is that they cannot be carried over.
Yes, linking to old forum posts. I figured it wouldn't be possible. Not a huge deal.
-
Yeah.... al the site links included in past posts do not work now.... I wonder if there is a solution to this?
-
Seems to me that would be good idea to have here. We already have a nice list VIN numbers.
I'd love to see a decent registry put together.
