  1. I like the pbr/baer stuff because they base their systems of OE so when you need pads and or parts its as easy as going to your local parts store. Some of the other brands require special order parts from them, not so great if your stranded in need of parts.
  2. Looking good, since you changed your suspension to TCP & 4link what's the plans with your Bilsteins, leafs? Thanks jeff

  6. The 70 I linked is running a sn-95 conversion I think he said so I would assume that's why he didn't have to roll or clearance anything. Their is a 70fb I see at some track days he owns a company called Sacramento Mustang he runs a boss clone with 275's up front with using Global West front suspension its a track car only so im thinking he had to limit the turning radius and be spot on with the back space on his wheels. http://gotbluemilk.com/web100918/15mike/imagepages/image43.html

  8. Buening, what brand 315 are you running? What are you using up front? This guy is using a g-link in the rear so no leafs he stated he hasn't rolled the lips with no rubbing and a stock length 9". As for the front he also said he hasn't rolled the lips and has no clearance issues and the front suspension still uses the stock track width.

  12. Ok guys, here's a question for you. I have a friend with a 68 Cougar with a 302ci and he was thinking of parting out the car and it has power steering, will this PS work on my 69? Jeff
  13. I forgot to tell everyone I'm in Nor-Cal I have 2 tracks within 40 min of my house, and 2 different autocross events about the same distance. Jeff
  14. Thanks guys, I will post some pics soon it's still raining out here and it's been covered and tarped for 8 years or so with a start up here and there. Sometime ago my uncle had the engine, all the bushings and shocks redone and a cheap paint job that I wish he never had done and after he just parked it until he gave it to me with the promise I can never sell it unless he gives the ok. I have some friends that are doing open track events and NASA autocross events so I've got the bug to try it out and what better to do it with than a 69 fb. The goals as of now are to get it back on the road put some miles on the new engine that's 8 years old now make sure she's safe and hit a autocross! Anything I do to it will need to be within a budget and as I go I will upgrade items that need to be addressed. For now I want power steering but as I said.....budget. So if I'm able to get everything off a parts car for a couple of hundred bucks that's perfect for me, I just need to know what's needed to take? Thanks Jeff
  15. Hey everyone Ive been a lurker on the site for a while and thought I'd introduce myself. I was given a 69fb from a family member it's stock in solid condition he had it since 1977 it's a base car 4spd, drums, 302ci and no power steering. And that leads to my question I'm not a Ford guy and I'm looking for info on what's needed to convert my car to power steering this is a budget build and I've found a few 69-70 cars being parted out near me and I looking to get the PS parts from one of them. So what should I grab? Does it matter if the parts car is a 351? AT, or have AC? Thanks Jeff
