Dropped Spindals to Lower Front Suspension

Hi

Has anyone had any experience in fitting Fat Man Fabrications or other brand drop spindles to a 69.  It enables a 2" drop but you can use standard coils and maintain full suspension travel.  On paper it's a good thing but how good is it in the "real" world?

I haven't used FatMan fabrications drop spindles but have experience with Heidt's drop spindles.  I didn't know anybody made a drop spindle for our cars.  In my opinion drop spindles are the best way to drop the suspension on a factory suspension.  You can use a lighter spring if you want a decent ride and all your suspension geometry remains the same.  This is especially important in regards to the steering.  Coil over, air suspension, etc certainly have their advantages over a drop spindle but they also have a lot more cost.
