det0326 179 Report post Posted February 18, 2016 Got my radiator in today and set it in the car to start running the cooler lines. The 5/16 inverted flare fitting that screws into the tranny housing has some kind of seal in it, not between the fitting and case but between the fitting that screws in the case and where the 5/16 inverted flare line fitting screws into the fitting in the case. It is not an O ring but there is some kind of seal I have never noticed this before. Anyone know if there are replacements or will it seal OK without, mine don't look the best so I need to replace them I guess. It almost looks like some sort of sealant was put in there because it is not a uniform shape. I thought that, that is what someone did in the one that I noticed it in but I had 4 of these fittings and they all had the seal but one. Dave Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
