Aftermarket shifter with console

I am going to install an aftermarket shifter in my 69 coupe and I was wondering if anyone has any pictures of their setup with a factory console. I am looking at the Hurst Quarterstick and I would like to keep the console in the car but if I am going to have to cut it up I will just take it out. Any pictures would be greatly appreciated.

 

Also, I was wondering if anyone knows of a tire company or supplier that still sells a 255 series tire or wider for a 14 inch rim. I am running stock GT rims which are 14 inch but I want to change out the 215/70R14's for something wider. I do plan on buying new rims at some point but for now I just want to buy rear tires.
