Kris 90 Report post Posted September 24, 2014 A coupe rear seat is not the same as a convertible. You may be able to modify one to make it work but it wider that a conv seat. I have seen quite a few on ebay lately but you will pay a premium for them as they are hard to come by. If you have yours unless the frame is totally roached it is repairable. I rebuilt my conv rear seat. Any upholstery shop will have the replacement zig zag springs and other parts to do it . Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Kris 90 Report post Posted September 25, 2014 I have heard of people taking more modern mustang convertible rear seats and making them fit but I don't know what all it takes. May be a lot cheaper option and a cool look if you can figure out if and how to make it work. From looking at pictures of newer mustang convertible rear seats, they look like the same overall shape but I don't know if they are the same size.
