markpsharp 10 Report post Posted September 12, 2014 I have a 69 convertible with a 302/V8 and am installing the factory power steering arrangement. My problem is this. On the back of the power steering pump there is supposed to be an "indexing bracket" which is a stamped steel bracket with a cutout. The cutout slots around the hard pipe section of the high pressure p/s hose and keeps the hose from moving. I've been told that there where three version available, depending on motor, and have seen a variety on the web. which is correct for my application, what does it look like and where could I dig one up.
