RPM 1,190 Report post Posted November 19, 2013 16? And bought your first classic Mustang for $2,500? Wow! Congrats and welcome to the forum. If you're anything like the rest of is here, you'll change your plans before the car is done. Fwiw, with that many cubes, and well over 500hp, saving weight with plastic windows is probably not needed. If you're going to shave weight, take it off the front end. BTW, this thread is worthless without pictures! No pictures =no car. Post em up. Bob

970fizz 19 Report post Posted November 19, 2013 Welcome, Sounds like you have some big plans for your 69. What are you talking about with the 67 hood vents? ( 67/68 blinker hood?) And the 67 fender extension? You are wanting to move your grill lights to the center like a early 67 Shelby? The 67/68 grill is more of a flat grill, it might look funny to do that with a 69 grill, I think you should keep a 69/70 to looking like a 69/70 ( there is a ton of crazy stuff you can do with that body style, look at agent 47 ) and if your going for a Shelby look Buy a 67/68 coupe. Look at little red or the green hornet or black hornet. Also please no sunroof!!!
