Will this style glove box latch work on a 69/70?

Found this on ebay and it is a different design than the junk ones ive been using. Wil this work i asked the seller on ebay because his description says it will but them replied he wasnt sure,

 

Anyone recognize this?

No that will not work in a 69. I replied to your other post that I have a few good originals 10.00 shipped.

Are you sure you are installing them properly? My original is still going strong after 44 years. Besides, I can count how many times I've had to open it over the years on my 10 fingers. If you are continually having to replace the repros you are buying they are either really poorly made or the latch is somehow misaligned. Why don't you take Denny up on his offer for an original?
