jeepcj7304 10 Report post Posted December 14, 2012 I am putting the 69 back together after getting it painted and I placed the rubber fender extension seals in the front and back but they look odd. They are really hard to miss since they create a large black line around the extensions. Does everyone else use these or not? I attached a picture below. 06minx09 10 Report post Posted December 14, 2012 You have them installed wrong. The seal goes on the the head light bucket and is compressed and is invisible when bolted to the fender. It is a specific shaped squared U channel seal and one side of the U is slightly longer than the other. There is a edge in the bucket that fits in the U of the seal. Hope this helps.
