If you have hood pins then a 69 just has a hole for the pins to come through but a 70 has a big hole because it doesn't use pins, it uses twist down type of lock. IIRC the only difference in the two hoods like stated above is size of the cutout hole for the hood pins on a 69 vs the twist locks for a 70. Mike.
