Is there a difference between a '69/'70 headlight switch?

Like it says. I need to replace my headlight switch and just need to know if the two years are interchangeable. Thanks!!

Can they be interchanged? Yes they could.

 

Are they interchangeable? No.

 

On a '70 the parking lights come one with the headlights, on a 69 they do not (just wiring).

 

Also, the angled spacer cups are different and they are spotwelded on if it's the original switch. (just welding)

 

The 69 switch has a heavier internal breaker because of the 4 headlights versus 2 (probably the biggest concern, might still be ok with stock headlights.) I guess I'd rather see a 69 switch in a 70 than vice versa.

OK, thanks. That's good info and what I needed. I figured there was something different, just didn't know what.
