bnickel 10,004 Report post Posted July 21, 2009 why did you decide to sell it after all these years?
JC69Stang 0 Report post Posted July 29, 2009 There are several reasons to sell. The main thing is, with this car it is pretty much all about me and my enjoyment it provides. I have a wife and a young daughter that support me with the car, but do not get much satisfaction out of it. We are going to get into boating, I love to fish and my wife grew up skiing. Something the whole family can get into. Its the least I can do for them after all these years letting me play around with the old hooptie. We also plan on getting into the modern mustang scene, I am waiting to see what engines/packages Ford comes out with and move in that direction in a couple of years. My first car was a 65 coupe, I owned it for 8 years through high school, college and a few years into marriage, then sold it to buy this 69, 12 more years of tinkering around with cars and I am ready for a break. These are still the best looking muscle car ever made. And each time I see one driving down the street, I will be grinning ear to ear. Cheers Joe
