Blinkers

Hi, I'm kinda new here hope this isn't too stupid of a question. I notice today my blinkers stop working. I checked the fuses,replaced the turn signal flasher still nothing. :surrender:Should i change the turn signal switch:helpsmilie:

Several things it could be and the switch is one. most cars have a hazzard flasher and a turn signal one, are you sure you replaced the right one?

 

I think '69 mustangs have a hazzard? I haven't goy to that point in my restoration yet.

Couldn't find a picture but the one I replaced was small, round, aluminum with two prongs on the plug in side :huh:

Turn on your hazzad lights and remove the can that you replaced if they still work you replaced the correct one..

if they still don't work check your lamps and earth connections

The Flasher for the Emergence Warning Blinkers is on the Driver's side. Part Number C8ZB - 13350 - B. The Turn Signal Flasher is on the Passenger side. Part Number C5AB - 13350 - D/

The emergence Flashers are not working either.I Replaced the flasher on the passenger side. Would the emergence flashers effect the turn signals. Im lost when it comes to electrical. :blink: THANKS for everybody's replies

Sounds like you're not getting any power to either one, check your fuses again and the place I'd start is with the wires coming out of the steering column. maybe that connector is bad , if it looks good you can check the juice going to your switch and the juice coming out to the flasher if you find a wire diagram.

Thanks everybody going to recheck everything again tomorrow after work, didn't get to play with the mustang much today,Had to fix something else, She said I only think of the mustang. :whistling:.
