EastYorkStang 63 Report post Posted April 19, 2009 I finally cut the shifter hole larger so I can run the Hurst shifter I bought. But it didn't come with a boot to cover the hole. What boot do you run with your T5 conversion?

ForceFed70 14 Report post Posted April 19, 2009 I use the factory boot and trim ring for a 3 speed manual. The 4 speed manual boot has a square shaped hole (for the shifter), but would probably work also.

gsxrken 21 Report post Posted April 20, 2009 I use a Hurst boot and rectangular trim that looks just like ForceFed's one, but I drool over a round one that Cobra Automotive has on their catalog. Google them and see what I'm talking about.
